Responsible Management of Licensed Venues QLD (RMLV Course)

Our RMLV courses are a monthly one day course. They are delivered by an approved trainer who is qualified to educate about the liquor act.

It is a mandatory requirement for individual licensees and/or approved managers to undertake the Responsible Management of Licensed Venues QLD course for a current RMLV certificate for the liquor licensees. RAM Training Services runs the OLGR-approved RMLV training (Queensland) course out of Southport on the Gold Coast, Red Hill in Brisbane, Cairns, and as a live online/virtual course. We can also deliver at your premises for group bookings anywhere throughout Queensland.

Once you have successfully completed your Responsible Management of Licensed Venues QLD training, you will receive an RMLV certificate which will award your business with the mandatory qualifications for managing liquor.

Following liquor laws, your business must consistently take part in licensed venues RMLV training. You must renew this RMLV training every 3 years to remain legal RMLV permit holders for current responsible management of a licensed premises.

For those applying to become Approved Managers, you will need your RMLV certificate, must be 18 years old or over, and cannot be an individual licensee. The RMLV licence fee is approximately $531.10 (payable directly to the Office of liquor and gaming regulation). OLGR takes 4-6 weeks to process your application, and will issue you with a photo identification card, with approval remaining valid for 5 years. • Delivery Method

  RAM’s RMLV Training course content is run over the duration of 1 extended day (10 hours), and can be completed by a face to face classroom, or live online RMLV Zoom class. The format of our RMLV online classes will require participants to have access to a computer, laptop or tablet, with internet access, and the ability to download and use Zoom video conferencing. As the Zoom classes are live, you will have ample opportunity to engage with your trainer and fellow students.
