Perform CPR

The Nationally Accredited Perform CPR course (HLTAID009 Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation – previously HLTAID001) teaches participants the necessary skills to carry out CPR on a casualty who has stopped breathing.

Upon successfully completing the nationally recognised training course, your certification remains valid for 12 months, at which time you may choose to have it renewed if necessary.

The CPR course runs for 4 hours (the first 4 hours of our full Provide First Aid course) with pre-course reading required, and is delivered on various days at several locations on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Far North Queensland.

For corporate bookings, please note – group bookings are available at your work premises in any location Australia-wide. Course delivery can also be tailored to your industry, for example – childcare, aged care, nursing etc.

Note, for international students – we are not CRICOS registered, please check your visa requirements for enrolment. We cannot accept international students who are on a student visa.

• Pre-Requisites

  While there are no pre-requisites to attend this course, we do recommend a Grade 10 level of English reading and writing, and a minimum age of 12.  Participants will also be required to carry out practical training and assessment at floor level, including performing CPR on a manakin for a period of 2 minutes.

Refund Policy

Please note that deposits are non-refundable, and once the course is paid in full, no refund will be given for cancellations unless 5 business days’ notice is given (less a 20% administration fee). Should we need to postpone a course for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the course within the following two months. If however, this is not possible, or the rescheduled dates do not suit, participants will be entitled to a full refund.
