Security Licence Renewal + Advanced First Aid

Every three years, crowd control security licence holders must complete 2 crowd control units, and in most cases, Advanced First Aid (depending on when this was last completed) again, to ensure they remain up to date with the latest techniques and industry standards.  This Security License Renewal + Advanced First Aid course is run at Southport on the Gold Coast, North Clontarf in Brisbane, and in Cairns.

The 2 crowd control units are CPPSEC3101 Manage Conflict and Security Risks through Negotiation, and CPPSEC3121 Control Persons using Empty Hand Techniques. The first aid component is HLTAID014 Advanced First Aid.  Security licence holders will receive the required completion dates for these units on their security licence renewal notice.

RAM Training Services runs this course as a 3-day face to face course, with pre-course work required.

Once you have successfully completed your course, and your assessments have been deemed competent, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (certificate) to submit to the Office of Fair Trading, to renew your licence.

Note for international students – we are not CRICOS registered, please check your visa requirements for enrolment.  We cannot accept international students who are on a student visa.

• Delivery Method

  RAM Training Services runs a 3-day face to face course for the 2 crowd control units (1 day) and the Advanced First Aid (2 days), with pre-course work required to be completed prior to attending the classroom course.

The cost to complete the 3 units is AUD$450.

Refund Policy

Please note that deposits are non-refundable, and once the course is paid in full, no refund will be given for cancellations unless 5 business days’ notice is given (less a 20% administration fee). Should we need to postpone a course for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the course within the following two months. If however, this is not possible, or the rescheduled dates do not suit, participants will be entitled to a full refund.

Courses are run on a weekly basis in Nerang and Slacks Creek, and as needed in Cairns.  Please call for upcoming course dates.

This course is made up of 2 crowd control units: CPPSEC3101 Manage conflict and security risks through negotiation, CPPSEC3121: Control persons using empty hand techniques, as well as HLTAID014 Advanced first aid. You will be required to complete some pre-course theory prior to attending the course.  The face to face component takes you through the practical part of the course, as well as a review of the theory component.

On successful completion of the course, you will then need to provide the Office of Fair Trading JP certified copies (or the originals in person) of your certificates before the due dates specified on your renewal notice.
