Get the Government to Fund your Training!Tweet
Did you know that RAM Training Services has obtained approval as a Pre-Qualified Supplier for User Choice funding? What does this mean for you?
Currently, RAM offers a Certificate III in Hospitality which gives you expert training and leaves you qualified for positions such as barista, bar tender, wine waiter, waiter, gaming attendant and more. The upfront cost of this course is usually $2995 – unless you’re eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee funding, which means you only pay $15-30. To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee program, you can’t be enrolled in or have completed a Certificate III or higher, in any qualification, along with a couple of other conditions. If you aren’t eligible though, there is another great incentive from the government!
User Choice! User Choice funding is available for employers who take on a new worker in a traineeship capacity. This funding goes to the training organisation toward the cost of the course (there will be a gap fee for some employers). This means that your employer gets the opportunity to hire a new staff member, and have them professionally trained (saving them the time), at little to no cost!
Not only that, the employer may also be eligible for incentive payments under the Australian Apprenticeship Incentives Program! Generally (there are exceptions), an employer will receive $1500 on commencement of a new trainee, and an additional $2500 on completion. These incentive payments assist with any gap fee for the training, meaning the employer isn’t out of pocket at all – and encourages employers to assist with developing a highly skilled and relevant Australian workforce.
Everybody wins! If you have questions about these programs, or you’re interested in a traineeship as either an employer or an employee – get in touch with us now on 1300 328 500, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
